INDICATIONS
Anti-Nausea
Nausea and vomiting are one of the most common and distressing side effects of conventional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. The Antiemetic properties of cannabinoids are well established. Cannabinoids such as CBD help to relieve nausea and vomiting by reacting with centrally located CB1 receptors in your body.
Appetite Stimulation
Anorexia is one of the most disturbing symptoms of patients with advanced cancer that leads to major weight loss. Numerous studies have revealed that cannabinoids have a stimulatory effect on appetite and can increase food consumption. They do so by interacting with classical neurotransmitters in neural networks that control energy metabolism and feeding behaviour.
Moderate Pain
Cancer pain can be dull, achy, sharp, or burning. It may be caused by the cancer itself or by treatments such as surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Cannabinoids produce analgesic effects that can help to effectively manage pain by reacting with receptors in your central and peripheral nervous system.
Anxiety
CBD has the ability to inhibit fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) enzyme, which indirectly increases CB1 receptor activation. CB1 receptor activation mediates the ability of CBD to regulate long-term learned fear processing. It also helps to boost serotonin levels in the body and thus is an effective treatment option for reducing anxiety related symptoms.
Insomnia
Cannabinoids such as CBD react with CB1 and CB2 receptors to yield a biphasic effect on sleep - In lower doses, they can reduce onset latency and have been associated with greater ease of falling asleep, increased slow wave sleep and increased total sleep time. At higher doses, cannabinoids reduce total rapid eye movement (REM) sleep and REM density.
DOSAGE
The dosage is subjective and varies depending on one’s tolerance for cannabinoids, severity of the ailment, metabolic rate and age. It is recommended to start with a low dose (2-3 drops) and to gradually increase as required. Please speak with your physician for dosage advise.
HOW TO CONSUME
Take the prescribed dose sublingually (below the tongue) with the dropper (provided with the medicine) or you may also take the drops on to a spoon from the dropper and then consume orally. Let the oil stay under the tongue for 30 - 60 seconds before swallowing for maximum absorption. Avoid touching the dropper to your mouth.

- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
